MANILA, Philippines—With some Sorsogon residents unable to go home due to the Luzon-wide lockdown, Heart Evangelista and Sorsogon Governor Francis “Chiz” Escudero hope to help them get the rest they need.
Evangelista announced Wednesday morning on Instagram that she and her husband received bed foams and pillows donated by foam and mattress brand Uratex Premium. She shared a picture of her posing with the bundles of donations.

“My husband @escuderochiz and I are sending these soon with love,” she said. “More bed foams from @uratexpremium and pillows donated by our friends for our dear Sorsoganons to give them comfort after being stranded at checkpoints!”
It was not mentioned where the bed foam would be transported to specifically. However, Escudero has measures in place to assist Sorsogonans stranded at checkpoints.
