Brad Pitt surprises makeup artist of 30 years with home renovation

Brad Pitt showed appreciation to his longtime makeup artist by transforming her garage into a makeup studio and guest suite.

The “Once Upon a Time… in Hollywood” actor chose to give back to Jean Black, who has been with him for over 40 films and nearly 30 years, as seen in the April 13 premiere episode of the HGTV show “Celebrity IOU”.

The show features celebrities showing gratitude to a person who has made an impact in their lives through a home renovation.

Pitt, alongside twins Jonathan and Drew Scott, was hands-on in remodeling Black’s garage while she was out of town for three weeks, the New York Post reported on April 8.

The actor’s hard work in making a cozy guest house for Black can be seen on the HGTV Instagram page.

“She’s family, we’re like brother and sister. She’s been that person I value so much in my life,” he was quoted as saying on the show.

Pitt was also friendly with everyone on the production and construction crew, the Scott Brothers told People.

“He remembered everybody and wanted to make sure that they knew how grateful he was for what was happening,” said Jonathan.
