LOOK: Jasmine Curtis turns 26, sends birthday bibingka treat to frontliners
During Jasmine Curtis’s 26th birthday last Monday, April 6, the actress sent some sweetness to frontliners battling COVID-19, by sending them boxes of special bibingka.
Curtis said that the current situation around the globe makes it uneasy to celebrate a joyous occasion such as birthdays. This is why amid the stream of greetings sent her way, Curtis did not forget to honor hospital workers for their sacrifices, as seen on her Instagram post yesterday, April 7.
Curtis thanked the staff at Dr. Jose N. Rodriguez Memorial Hospital, Philippine General Hospital, San Lazaro Hospital and Lung Center of the Philippines for their “amazing service and for making sacrifices during these challenging times.”
The actress also sent her love to her family and friends who greeted her on her special day.
“Thought that it might be quite an uneasy time to be joyous for celebrations of birthdays and any anniversaries,” she said. “[I]nstead of entertaining the blues and guilt I decide to add a little sweetness to our frontliners meals today care of the very generous and helpful people behind @mdbibingka.”
