LOOK: Andi Eigenmann gives first look at baby Lilo
Andi Eigenmann proudly shared for the first time a closeup look at her healthy newborn on Saturday, July 27.
The actress said in an Instagram post that baby Keliana Alohi Eigenmann Alipayo or Lilo was born on July 23. Lilo seems to be a fitting name as the eponymous Disney character was a spunky Hawaiian girl who loves to surf.
Baby Lilo can be seen swaddled in a pink cloth and a white hat in the picture.

Eigenmann also shared a comparison on her Instagram Stories of Ellie and Lilo on the first day after their birth, both of them with rosy, healthy cheeks.

Eigenmann said in an Instagram post on Friday that she gave birth via C-section, the same way that she delivered Ellie, her first child, with Jake Ejercito.
Boyfriend Philmar Alipayo and Ellie both showed their love and support for Eigenmann, as seen in pictures she posted of them in the hospital room.

“Having gone through this process before didn’t make anything easier or less scary (Specially because this was not how I had thought my second birth story would be),” she said. She initially wanted to opt for a VBAC (vaginal birth after C-section), but her doctor advised against this.
“But with these two (+ the rest of my fam) by my side through everything, it was easier to trust that everything will be alright. True enough, birth is beautiful no matter how it happens. I couldn’t be any more grateful that our baby girl came out healthy and safe.”
Eigenmann and Alipayo, a champion surfer, plan to raise their daughter in Siargao, where they are building a home and a bed-and-breakfast. /ra
