Andi Eigenmann explains why bedtime talks with Ellie is ‘crucial in parenting’
Establishing good communication with one’s children is important. Knowing this, Andi Eigenmann makes an effort to talk to her daughter Ellie as part of their bedtime routine.
According to Eigenmann, talking to Ellie during bedtime has developed their interaction with each other, as stated on her Instagram account yesterday, July 8.

“Quite a lot about our daily routine at home has changed since adapting to a life of mindfulness and holistic self-care,” Eigenmann said. “Because we still have to stay in the city half the time- Ellie is still enrolled in regular schooling, we try our best to bring our healthy habits with us here.”
“An example [I’d] like to share is that the final bit of our bedtime routine is now spent talking to [each other] > watching stuff online. (We love enjoying our mornings, and screentime tends to keep us up longer…),” she added.
Eigenmann explained that their nightly talks get them excited to learn more about each other, and that these talks “open [up] communication,” which she believes is “a crucial part of parenting.”
“This is a time where she is comfortable enough to share her thoughts on things and ask me questions. (Nobody told me how hard this could get!! Last night’s topic was regarding a young actor [RIP Cameron Boyce], whom she’s a fan of, who had passed away),” she added. “I am glad that this experience is something we both enjoy and may opt to do more often, because I believe in balance.”
