KC Concepcion gifts childhood ‘yaya’ a house

KC Concepcion’s elderly caretaker Nanay Lina, who has cared for her since she was a baby, proudly shared that she was gifted with a house by the actress.
An Instagram Story uploaded on Sept. 7 featured the elderly woman sitting at a table eating while speaking with companions. One of them asked if she received a house as a gift.
“Binigyan ako ng bahay niyan!” answered Nanay Lina matter-of-factly.
When asked who gave her the house, she pointed at the camera and said, “Siya (Her)!” referring to Concepcion, who was doing the recording.

Concepcion also showed her appreciation for the beloved yaya last year when she dedicated a heartfelt Instagram post on Mar. 8, 2017.
“In the Philippines, our families hire household help and we consider them family. They usually stay with us for years, watching the children grow up as if they were their own,” wrote Concepcion.

Nanay Lina celebrated her 89th birthday on Aug. 18, 2018, and continues to stay with Concepcion’s family up to this day. /ra
