Angel Locsin to wear Popo Go gown for ABS-CBN Ball
Angel Locsin feels excited about attending the upcoming ABS-CBN ball, and has chosen fashion designer Popo Go to outfit her for the occasion.
The last time Locsin was seen in a ball was back in 2008 for her first and last Star Magic Ball. Ten years later, the actress can’t wait to walk down the red carpet even if she may do so without an escort, according to a report by Push.
“I think solo na maglalakad ako sa red carpet. I’m not sure kung may kasama ako. Hindi pa ako sure dun kung may kasama ako or mag-isa,” she said during the Avon Fashions X Angel Locsin bag collection launch held at the Marquis Event Place in Taguig City on Sept. 27.
Locsin said she particularly wanted to attend the upcoming ball to meet her fellow-Kapamilya. Otherwise, the actress said she preferred passing up on such events.
“Usually tamad ako mag-attend ng mga ganito pero this time I’m very excited kasi first time na ABS-CBN ball talaga so gusto ko ma-meet din siyempre yung mga kapamilya natin. Lalabas ako ng lungga ko at a-attend ako ng ball,” said the actress jokingly.
With regards to her dress, Locsin said she left it up to the designer. Her only instruction was to not make it too sexy.
“Kasi medyo conservative ako eh so this time sila na bahala. I trust them with all my heart. Ganun sila kagaling,” explained the actress.
Popo Go designs have been worn by personalities such as Heart Evangelista, Elisse Joson, Megan Young, Pia Wurtzbach and Coleen Garcia.
Locsin has been busy preparing for her upcoming TV show “The General’s Daughter,” which will premiere worldwide on The Filipino Channel in January 2019. Alfred Bayle /ra
