Belle Mariano and Donny Pangilinan will take their love team to new heights as their first teleserye “Can’t Buy Me Love” will premiere in October, as seen in a teaser uploaded by ABS-CBN.

The one-minute teaser showed Pangilinan as Bingo who works several jobs to make ends meet—including as a waiter at a party where Mariano’s character Caroline was present.

Other scenes showed the actor saving his onscreen partner from drowning, and the “Bugambilya” singer downing a shot of alcohol at an event.

“This October, magbibida na sa kanilang unang primetime series ang ‘New Gen’ love team (This October, the ‘new gen’ love team will star in their first primetime series),” a voiceover said.

The Mae Cruz Alviar-helmed series tells the story of Caroline (Belle Mariano), a rich Chinese woman coming from a traditional family, who crosses paths with Bingo (Donny Pangilinan).
