Carla Abellana honored her late grandmother Delia Razon by wearing the necklace pendant where she kept the green bones found in the late screen veteran’s remains.
The actress showed a recent close-up photo of herself with the necklace pendant dangling close to her chest, through her Instagram page on Thursday, March 20.
“Back to work! Forever with Mamang now. These are her green bones,” Abellana said in the caption.
In Chinese culture, finding green bones after a deceased’s body is cremated sigifies that the individual lived a life of goodness. It is also deemed as the deceased’s final gift to their family.
Prior to Abellana’s post about Razon’s green bones, the younger actress paid tribute to the late actress whom she described as “the strongest, bravest, fiercest and most beautiful.” Abellana regards herself as a lola’s girl as she lived and grew up with Razon in her house.
