WATCH: Barbie Forteza, David Licauco turn up heat in ‘Maging Sino Ka Man’ teaser

Barbie Forteza and David Licauco gave a glimpse of their onscreen chemistry for their primetime comeback “Maging Sino Ka Man,” in what seemed like a meet-cute trope at a bar.
Shedding off their modest characters in their breakout series “Maria Clara at Ibarra,” Forteza and Licauco are side by side during an encounter at a crowded bar. In another scene, the actor catches Forteza in his arms before she falls.
These were part of the GMA-7 teaser which it captioned, “BARDA for #MagingSinoKaManGMA @barbaraforteza @davidlicauco,” referring to Forteza and Licauco’s loveteam, which is a combination of their first names.
“Here’s a sneak peek of Monique and Carding from the most awaited GMA adaptation of the iconic 90s film, ‘Maging Sino Ka Man!’ Abangan (Stay tuned), mga Kapuso!” the network added.

A behind the scenes photo of the Kapuso stars was also uploaded on Sparkle GMA Artist Center’s Instagram page, where Licauco donned a beige jacket and pants while Forteza wore a pink sleeveless top with a fabric rose.

The loveteam’s fans took to the comments to express their excitement about the upcoming teleserye, although a premiere date has yet to be announced.

The teaser was released after it was confirmed that Forteza and Licauco were joining forces for the drama, which is a remake of the 1991 film “Maging Sino Ka Man”. The original film starred Sharon Cuneta and Senator Robin Padilla.
The onscreen partners will also star in the upcoming film “That Kind of Love,” where details of its premiere are yet to be disclosed. EDV
