Lee Seung-gi, star of ‘My Girlfriend is a Gumiho,’ to marry Lee Da-in on April 7
Lee Seung-gi, best known for his hit K-dramas “My Girlfriend is a Gumiho” and “Vagabond”, confirmed that he’s getting married to his girlfriend, actress Lee Da-in, on April 7 of this year.
The Korean singer-actor announced his marriage to Da-in through a handwritten letter to fans uploaded on his Instagram account on Tuesday, Feb. 7.
“Hello, this is Lee Seung-gi,” he began. “This year, it seems that I have a lot to write about. Today, I am relaying the most important decision of my life. I have decided to spend the rest of my life together with Lee Da-in, not just as lovers, but as a married couple.”

Seung-gi revealed that he and Da-in will get married on April 7, although it’s unclear whether the ceremony will be open to the public.

Now that I have a person to spend the remainder of my life with, I wanted to happily share this to all of you directly. She is someone with a warm heart and is full of love, and she’s the person I want to keep by my side forever,” he said.

“I want to share our happiness together, and even if there are hard times in life, I want to overcome those trials together without letting go of each other’s hands. I hope you will show support for our future, and we will live happily while continuing to share so much to others,” he added.
Seung-gi and Da-in confirmed their romantic relationship in May 2021 through the latter’s agency 9Ato Entertainment after they were spotted at a vacation to Gangwon Province in South Korea. Even so, the couple has reportedly been in a relationship since late 2020.
Apart from “My Girlfriend is a Gumiho”, Seung-gi has starred in many hit K-dramas including “Vagabond”, “Brilliant Legacy”, “The King 2 Hearts”, “Gu Family Book”, “You’re All Surrounded”, and “Mouse”, among many others.
The 36-year-old star is also best known for his hit songs “Alone In Love”, “Will You Marry Me”, “Because You’re My Woman”, and “Losing My Mind”, and was the host of the now-defunct talk show “Strong Heart”.
On the other hand, Da-in is best known for her roles in the hit K-dramas “Hwarang”, “Doctor Prisoner”, and “Alice”. EDV
