Britney Spears has revealed that her mother once slapped her “so hard” for staying out with Paris Hilton and Lindsay Lohan while she took care of the singer’s two sons.
The pop star made this claim while admitting she wished she got to “see what [it] feels like” to slap someone, via her Instagram post today, Oct. 11. Spears stated that the incident took place after her split with her ex-husband, dancer Kevin Federline.
“The first time I ever got slapped was the one night Paris and Lindsay dropped me off at my beach house with my babies. Kevin left me at that point, so I had a small beach house and my mother was watching Jayden and Preston,” she said.
Spears recalled that she was on a night out with Hilton and Lohan until around 4 a.m., leaving her mother “pissed.”
“I walked in, she looked at me and slapped me so hard that I will never forget it! [Since] then I’ve always wondered what it must feel like to slap someone. GUESS I WILL NEVER KNOW!” she told fans. “Stay classy folks! This was all 15 years ago… I mean we’ve all grown up since then!”
This comes after the “Stronger” singer confessed via Instagram last Oct. 1 that she is having a “hard time” letting go of her past. She also said she felt that she does not have a family that values and respects her following her 13-year conservatorship.
“They could at least take responsibility for their actions and actually own up to the fact they hurt me! For me, just a genuine apology would help give me closure but it honestly blows my mind every day of my life even after what is known what they did to me, they still act as if that’s ok,” she told fans.
Britney’s mother Lynne Spears responded to this with an apology, as she pleaded Britney to unblock her and talk to her in person.
“I have been sorry for years! I love you so much and miss you! Please unblock me so I can speak to you in person!” she told Britney.

It has been almost a year since Britney regained control over her own life, as her conservatorship was terminated by a Los Angeles judge back in November 2021.
Under the legal guardianship which left Britney “traumatized,” she was not allowed to have children, get married and manage her own finances, among others.
Since the end of the conservatorship, Britney has been granted the power to execute her own documents “as an independent woman” and was invited by the US Congress to testify about conservatorships. The singer also tied the knot with model Sam Asghari last June and released her music comeback with Elton John in August. /ra
