Congressman Sam ‘SV’ Verzosa continues to give back to charity on his birthday
MANILA, Philippines — Tutok to Win Party-list Rep. Sam “SV” Verzosa, who is also president of Maserati PH and CEO of Frontrow, kickstarted his birthday celebration this year by giving a P5-million donation to seven deserving charities and organizations during the charity gala, A Night of Giving Back, at the Cove, Okada Manila in Parañaque City on September 10.
As part of his life-long advocacy to help the underprivileged, Verzosa partnered with Frontrow Cares, Tutok to Win Party-list, Angkas, and Ms. Universe Philippines in order to extend monetary assistance to Anawin Foundation, He Cares Foundation, Light of Jesus Prison Ministry, Jeremiah Foundation, Smile Train, Cottolengo Filipino, and Batang Sampaloc Scholarship Foundation.
“When there is an opportunity to help, I just cannot turn a blind eye and fall on deaf ears but I would rather respond to the call and become a part of the solution. As the Vice Chairman of the Committee on Poverty Alleviation and the Committee on Social Services in the House of Representatives, I would like to amplify my advocacy and reach out to more underprivileged Filipinos as possible to offer assistance and support,” Verzosa said in an interview.
The charity gala was graced with the presence of Ilocos Norte 1st District Rep. Ferdinand Alexander “Sandro” Marcos and other colleagues from the House of Representatives.

Frontrow co-founder and president RS Francisco, together with the leaders of the leading multi-level marketing company, showed overwhelming love and appreciation for the birthday celebrator in view of their years of trusted partnership and friendship.
“I wish to be the voice of the beneficiaries I picked tonight – the abandoned elderly, street children, persons deprived of liberty, children in crisis, and physical disabled, abandoned and neglected children. Through this event, I want the world to really see them and their needs because more often than not, these people in need are ignored,” Verzosa said.
To recall, Verzosa has received numerous awards for his charity works which include the Philanthropist of the Year 2021 Award from the American Association of the Philippines, and Humanitarian of the Year 2022 Award from People Asia.
