Carla Abellana has this wish for her birthday: ‘To be happy’

Carla Abellana expressed her hopes “to be happy” amid annulment rumors hounding her marriage with estranged husband, actor Tom Rodriguez.
The actress shared to her fans her birthday wish while showing a black-and-white photo of herself, through her Instagram page yesterday, June 12.
“My birthday wish is to be happy,” Abellana said.
Abellana received birthday greetings from fellow celebrities including Gab Valenciano, Tim Yap and Gabbi Garcia who described the actress as “one of the most beautiful souls.”

While Abellana only gave a brief statement on her wish, it can be noted that this came after rumors that she is already processing her annulment to Rodriguez. Said rumors have been making rounds on social media.
Meanwhile, Rodriguez recently dropped a cryptic photo of someone breaking free from chains. He also spoke about a supposed “gag order” which hinders him from telling the whole truth. Abellana, who has been mum about the subject, is yet to comment on Rodriguez’s claims, as of writing.
Abellana and Rodriguez, who got married in October last year, were speculated to have broken up after they unfollowed, then followed, each other on Instagram. Actor Rey “PJ” Abellana, the actress’ father, then revealed last March that his daughter and Rodriguez were indeed having marital problems, adding that a “one-night stand” was involved.
