Anji Salvacion, dubbed as “Singing Sweetheart ng Siargao,” was named the Big Winner for this edition of “Pinoy Big Brother Kumunity Season 10.”
Salvacion bested the other housemates after she garnered 40.42% of the total combined votes, as seen in the reality TV show’s episode on its YouTube channel yesterday, May 29.
Succeeding Salvacion as second placer was adult housemate Isabel Laohoo with 18.20% of votes, followed by celebrity housemate Samantha Bernardo who garnered 16.28% votes. Teen housemate Rob Blackburn was named the fourth placer with 4.01% of votes and celebrity housemate Brenda Mage, who got 1.19% of votes, placed fifth.
“First of all, I really want to say thank you to God for giving me this opportunity and for giving me this biggest blessing in life,” Salvacion said. “It is not the title but it is how people trusted me. That’s my biggest blessing — how people look up to me.”
The “PBB” winners took home cash prizes: Salvacion with P2 million, Laohoo with P500,000, Bernardo with P300,000, Blackburn with P200,000, and Mage with P100,000.
Earlier in the competition, Salvacion was named as one of the celebrity Kumunity top two along with volleyball player Alyssa Valdez. Salvacion returned to the reality TV show as part of its final set, but Valdez gave up her spot in the competition and was replaced by Bernardo. JB
