Vice Ganda got emotional in comedy bar visit: ‘Saw myself, my beginnings’

Vice Ganda could not help but get emotional when he was reminded of his stand-up comedian days after he visited a comedy bar.

The comedian-TV host spoke about his experience which made him look back on his humble beginnings, as per his Twitter page today, May 22.

“Went to a comedy bar [tonight]. Saw some familiar faces,” he said. “Got emotional while watching them on stage. Saw [myself]. My beginnings. My heart was joyful.”

Vice Ganda then expressed his gratitude for all that he has now while extending his appreciation to those who were once like him.

“Couldn’t help but to say THANK YOU LORD repeatedly in my mind,” he added. “To all the comedy bar performers and staff, you will always be special!”

Meanwhile, the comedian earlier gave away P5,000 each to over 100 staff and crew of “It’s Showtime,” and P10,000 each to five chosen viewers. The comedian stated that the gesture was an early Christmas treat because he was in a good mood.

Aside from this, Vice Ganda also recently treated two strangers to a shopping spree, as well as paid for random people’s medicine in a pharmacy. JB
