The beauty queen reflected on her time at Miss World while showing moments from the competition’s coronation night on her Instagram page yesterday, March 23.
“My [Miss World] journey has officially come to an end now that I’ve left the beautiful island of Puerto Rico! Spent the week there only with the best people and the best experiences, I can’t wait to be back and once again explore the wonders of the island of enchantment,” she said.
Perez added that the mark left by her experience in Miss World will remain with her forever.
“Oh and what a ride it has been! Truly eye-opening and life-changing. My heart swells with so much pride, love and honor that a simple person like me was able to walk the stage of the world and leave a mark that will forever remain,” she gushed. “To my beloved Philippines, Mahal kong Pilipinas — this is just the beginning of an exciting and meaningful journey ahead!”
