Ellen Adarna, Derek Ramsay finally flying to Africa for honeymoon

Ellen Adarna and Derek Ramsay are on their way to Africa for their honeymoon, three months since they tied the knot.
The actor flew out of the country in a white suit with a printed collared shirt, while Adarna wore a glossy blue-green outfit. The couple is traveling with Adarna’s son Elias, whom she had with her ex-boyfriend, actor John Lloyd Cruz, as seen on Ramsay’s Instagram Stories today, Feb. 24.
“Africa here we come! #ramsayhoneymoon,” he said.
On their car ride to the airport, Ramsay asked Elias what he was looking forward to in their trip, and Elias said he wanted to see lions and hippopotamuses in Africa.

For her part, Adarna showed herself with the “Africa group” in what appears to be an airport lounge on her Instagram Story, also today.
She also gave a glimpse of Ramsay in a video chat with her aunt as he expressed excitement over being in an airport.
“Eto pala itsura ng airport ngayon, pakita ko sa’yo. Ito ang feeling ng nagta-travel, this is the feeling,” he said. (This is what an airport looks like now, let me show you. This is the feeling of traveling, this is the feeling.)

Adarna and Ramsay initially planned to go to Africa last month, but reportedly had to postpone their plans due to the spike in COVID-19 cases at the time.
The couple recently celebrated their first year together last Feb. 4 by going on a beach trip in Pangasinan.
Adarna and Ramsay confirmed their relationship in February 2021 and got engaged a month later. They then got married in a dreamy wedding in Bataan on Nov. 11, 2021. /ra
