Winwyn Marquez is expecting a baby girl, marks New Year with gender reveal party

Winwyn Marquez welcomed the New Year by revealing that she is expecting a baby girl with her non-showbiz partner.
The actress and beauty queen gave fans a glimpse of her baby’s gender reveal party on her YouTube channel yesterday, New Year’s Eve.
The couple’s friends and family participated in baby-themed games and congratulated the pair for the new addition to their family. Winwyn’s parents, actors Joey Marquez and Alma Moreno, were also in attendance.
Winwyn, her partner and her parents popped a big balloon to find out the gender of the baby. After being showered by pink confetti that revealed she is having a girl, Winwyn appeared ecstatic and hugged her loved ones.
“Today is page 365 [of] 365 and this is my last video for 2021 — a very very special way to end our year. We finally know the gender of our baby and I can’t wait to meet mini Winwyn next year!” Winwyn gushed.
She then looked back at 2021 as her “year of so many realizations” since it taught her to be more appreciative.
“[It] taught me how not to take the small things for granted, to not waste any time in doubt and fear, to make a move and not be stuck thinking the question ‘what if?'” she said while also expressing gratefulness that her family is well and healthy.
“2021 gave me the best things despite our situation now. God gave me a partner who gives me infinite love and support and I cannot stress enough how thankful I am for him,” she added. “We have a love story only a few can relate to and after 24 years of knowing each other, growing up together, achieving goals on our own — we finally meet in the middle (it’s like destiny brought us together at the perfect time). Now we’re finally starting our little family.”
Winwyn announced last Dec. 18 that she and her non-showbiz partner are expecting their first child. She opted not to reveal her partner’s identity and described him as a “very private person.”
Meanwhile, she also stars as lead actress in the suspense thriller “Nelia,” featured in the ongoing Metro Manila Film Festival. JB
