Nadine Lustre has embodied the spirit of Christmas gift-giving as she celebrated the occasion with relief work in Siargao, one of the areas gravely hit by super typhoon Odette.

Lustre has been sending nonstop help to the typhoon victims in the said area, as seen on her Instagram stories yesterday, Dec. 25. The actress-singer was traveling through land and water to assist in the distribution of food supplies.

Lustre was first spotted helping out in Siargao on Dec. 23, as she worked with Bariou and Greenpeace Philippines in installing solar panels and delivering relief goods. The actress, who owns a property on the island, has then expressed her gratitude to those extending their help for the residents of Siargao.

Lustre’s concern for Siargao was previously questioned by a Twitter user who implied that she was only worried of her rumored boyfriend. She then addressed the accusation, asserting that she really is concerned for the super typhoon victims. JB
