Marian Rivera cheers on Beatrice Luigi Gomez after Miss Universe pageant

Marian Rivera expressed how proud she is of Miss Universe Philippines Beatrice Luigi Gomez after the Cebuana beauty queen competed in the recent Miss Universe pageant.
The actress, who served as a judge in Miss Universe, showed herself and Gomez holding hands as they talked onstage after the competition, as seen on her Facebook page yesterday, Dec. 13.
Rivera can be seen addressing members of the audience and asking them, “Proud tayo, ‘di ba?” (We’re proud, right?) while the crowd cheered on Gomez.

Rivera then addressed Gomez while showing a photo of them together on her Instagram Story, also yesterday.
“You make us so proud, Bea!” she told Gomez.

Gomez competed for the Miss Universe crown at the pageant held in Eilat, Israel. Despite not bringing home the crown, she finished her journey in Miss Universe as part of its top 5.
Harnaaz Sandhu of India was crowned Miss Universe 2021, followed by first runner-up Nadia Ferreira of Paraguay and second runner-up Lalela Mswane of South Africa. /ra
