LOOK: Bea Alonzo’s transfer to GMA hinted by photoshoot

Bea Alonzo is most likely the award-winning actress who will be joining the Kapuso roster, fans and netizens have gone abuzz.
Speculations rose after GMA teased fans via social media earlier today, June 30, with a peek at the face of its new talent with the caption, “One of the biggest artists in Philippine showbiz will be a Kapuso” — with the words “be a” highlighted.
The said actress will officially mark her transfer to GMA tomorrow at 4 p.m. via GMA’s Facebook page, but fans already seem sure of the star’s identity.

The said teaser showed only a black-and-white photo of the left eye, eyebrow and ear of the actress, which bears a striking resemblance to Alonzo.
Many fans are pointing this resemblance out, while others are already wishing that Alonzo will get to star in a project alongside John Lloyd Cruz.
“Sana may project agad si [Bea] and John Lloyd (I hope Bea and John Lloyd appear together as soon as possible),” Instagram user @zheilix22 commented on GMA’s teaser.
“Bea Alonzooooo, kilay at mata pa lang (That is Bea Alonzo, just look at the eyebrow and eye) ihhh,” user @kiennaquinngrey26, meanwhile, noted.

Further supporting fans’ speculations is Alonzo’s Instagram Story posted yesterday, June 29, where she shared another black-and-white picture of her from a photoshoot with stylist Pam Quinones and photographer Mark Nicdao, among others.

If true, Alonzo’s transfer will come just a few weeks after Cruz, her longtime onscreen partner, marked his return to show biz by agreeing to star on two GMA Network shows. /ra
