WATCH: Piolo Pascual’s surprise visit to mom in US celebrating her 75th birthday

Piolo Pascual looked back at the surprise visit he gave his mother, Amelia, who is currently living in the United States, as he celebrated her 75th birthday.
The actor shared with fans the heartwarming and emotional clip that captured their reunion via Instagram yesterday, June 14.
“This will always put a smile on my face [smiley face] I’m utterly blessed to have a beautiful mum and celebrate her milestone with her,” the doting son said of the video.

In the video, the actor’s mother, Amelia Pascual, can be seen sitting on a chair seemingly inside her home when her son, wearing a big smile, suddenly enters with flowers.
The mom could not help but shout with joy and laugh as she approached and embraced Pascual, who kissed her immediately and returned the hug.
“Are you surprised?” Pascual asked, which was answered by her mother with a laugh and another embrace.
“Happy 75th birthday @tuknay Your love will always be appreciated and your presence would always calm my spirit (smiley face) love you very much Mum (smiley face) enjoy,” Pascual said in the caption.
Several other celebrities including Aiko Melendez, Angel Locsin and Angeline Quinto also sent their greetings to Pascual’s mother via the comments section.

It is unclear if the video was taken way back then or just recently for Amelia’s birthday. The mother, meanwhile, took to Instagram on June 13 to share some photos of her with others during her birthday celebration, but her son was not in any of them.
Amelia also did not disclose much, as the birthday celebrant simply captioned her post “#travelbuddies #together again.”

Last year, Pascual admitted during his guesting on “Magandang Buhay” that he is a “mama’s boy” as he got emotional after watching a video message from her mother. /ra
