Korina Sanchez asks for donations as ‘Tsinelas Campaign’ returns
Veteran television host Korina Sanchez has finally returned with her “Tsinelas Campaign” and is calling on the public to help out through donations.
“I SO MISSED THIS. Our K Saya Saya community outreach and nationwide Tsinelas Campaign is BACK,” Sanchez proudly announced on Instagram earlier today, June 11.
“How I missed the children. Their smiles and even tears when they receive a new pair of slippers is absolutely priceless. Like buying a ticket to Heaven each time,” she added.

“So many in need. They either have no slippers or sobrang sira sira na (very worn out). [crying emoji] And they have no money to buy a new pair. Their parents will buy food or medicine instead,” the TV host lamented.

“This outreach is for the poorest communities nationwide. And will happen every two weeks,” Sanchez said.
Those willing to donate can contact Sanchez through [email protected]. While she noted that in-kind donations are preferred, those who want to donate cash can also email her and will be provided a receipt on what it will be used for.
“Thanks in advance. God bless your kind heart,” Korina said.
Sanchez has long been known for leading the “Isang Milyong Tsinelas” campaign, which aims to help restore the dignity of impoverished children by providing them with slippers. It started as a public service segment in “Rated K.”
She also established the Philippine Animal Guardians for Humane Societies, a foundation that rescues and rehabilitates stray, neglected and/or abused animals. /ra
