Roxanne Barcelo on finally being a mother: ‘Not easy, but It’s all worth it’

After finally fulfilling her lifelong wish to become a mother, Roxanne Barcelo shared her realization that it really is “not so easy” but is “all worth it” anyway.
“Our mornings in the hospital room look like this,” Barcelo said via Instagram Stories earlier today, June 11, sharing a photo of her breakfast.
“It’s been a very ‘unique’ [two] weeks of my life. Sorry if I can’t think of the right adjective at 6:30 in the morning,” she quipped.
While she cannot share more with her fans for now, the first-time mom promised that she will be talking about her “birthing journey” soon once she musters the courage to do so.

“Blessed to go through life with my husband and best friend,” the “Pinoy Big Brother” alum emphasized.
“I say he needs a vacation, but he says he just wants to be with me and the baby,” Barcelo added.
She shared that her husband told her this “matter-of-factly” as he was warming up their food while “not knowing he’s warming up my soul too.”
“I waited all my life to be a wife and mother and now I am fully humbled by this truth: As they all say, it’s not easy. BUT it is all worth it,” the doting mother stressed.
In the next Instagram Story, Barcelo gave fans another look at her first child as she holds him in her arms.

Barcelo revealed only last Sunday, June 6, that she had finally welcomed her baby boy with her non-showbiz husband. She announced the pregnancy to her fans last January.
Earlier in her Christmas Eve YouTube vlog, Barcelo revealed that she and her non-showbiz lover had gotten engaged and tied the knot in 2020. /ra
