WATCH: Alt rock bands Mayonnaise, 647 cover Taylor Swift’s ‘Love Story’
Alternative rock bands Mayonnaise and 647 treated fans to their own rendition of Taylor Swift’s “Love Story” amid the release of the pop star’s re-recorded “Fearless” album.
The two bands collaborated through Mayonnaise’s weekly “TBT” (Throwback Thursday) sessions where they, as the title suggests, cover or perform old songs for the fans.
Amid the pandemic-induced lockdown, Mayonnaise and 647 brought live gig feels to fans as they performed the song live at the Yellow Room Recording Studio in Alabang. It was uploaded on YouTube yesterday, April 8.
Other than the re-recording of her old songs, Swift’s new “Fearless” album, officially titled “Fearless (Taylor’s Version),” comes with bonus tracks “From the Vault.” It was released just earlier today, April 9.
