Mayonnaise ecstatic over Blackpink’s Rosé knowing their ‘Park Chaeyoung’ song
OPM rock band Mayonnaise could not help but be overjoyed when they found out that Blackpink’s Rosé has heard of their recently-released song inspired by her.
The said song, called “Park Chaeyoung” in Hangul, is titled after the K-pop star’s real name and was written by Mayonnaise frontman Monty Macalino, a known Blink (a Blackpink fan).
“Park Chaeyoung” has now reached South Korean media and was even broadcasted on the Seoul Broadcasting System (SBS) show “Morning Wide,” a feat that the band described as a “first win.”
“Park Chaeyoung feature in SBS Morning News [crying emoji] #MayonnaiseFirstWin,” the band stated on its official Facebook page on Jan. 7, sharing a clip of the South Korean show’s feature on their song.
