Alice Dixson helps raise funds to buy safety gear for bikers amid COVID-19
Alice Dixson is helping raise funds to provide safety gear for those who have turned to biking to get around the metro amid the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic.
The actress appealed to her fans and followers to donate to the cause via her Facebook post yesterday, July 29. She also highlighted how biking is an important mode of transportation for Filipinos.
“Since the pandemic started, this Outreach Program in the Philippines, thousands upon thousands of Filipino commuters have been without public transport,” she said.

“Unlike riders in more affluent countries, the Filipino working class cannot afford to gear up for their bike rides — the bike itself already takes up a whole month’s wages,” Dixson pointed out.
