LOOK: Sarah Geronimo, Matteo Guidicelli plant tree in Amanpulo to mark her 32nd birthday
Sarah Geronimo planted a coconut tree with her husband Matteo Guidicelli in the Amanpulo resort in Palawan to celebrate her 32nd birthday yesterday, July 25.
“Lovebirds in Amanpulo!” celebrity doctor Vicki Belo’s company said on Instagram yesterday as it posted a photo of the happy couple outdoors.

The doctor then pointed out that the two planted a coconut tree together “that will bear fruit for years to come,” as per her own post. She also showed a sweet moment of Guidicelli kissing Geronimo’s cheek while they crouched behind their newly-planted sapling.

Belo, her husband doctor Hayden Kho, and their daughter Scarlet Snow are staying in the said resort with the couple as well. Kho also recalled a short conversation he had with Guidicelli when they were about to plant the sapling.
When Kho asked Guidicelli and Geronimo if they were going to plant one tree each, Guidicelli said no.
“Together na lang kami (We’ll do it together), doc,” the actor told Kho. “We’re one na (already) [eh].“
Upon hearing this, Geronimo simply said “Mahal.”

Meanwhile, Guidicelli gave the pop superstar a short yet heartfelt birthday message on his own page.
“Happy birthday my lovely wife. I’m so proud of you,” he said. “You deserve all the happiness and positivity that life has to offer.”

“Whatever dreams you want to achieve, I’m here by your side,” Guidicelli assured her. “You are so beautiful.”
Along with celebrating Geronimo’s birthday, the couple flew to the said resort to finally go on their “delayed honeymoon,” months after they tied the knot last February.

The two got married during a private Christian wedding ceremony at the Victory Church in Bonifacio Global City, Taguig. The occasion was surrounded by controversy after Guidicelli allegedly punched the bodyguard sent over by Geronimo’s family to the reception.
However, Guidicelli clarified that he did not strike anyone during their special day, which he said was “full of pure love, honesty and genuine emotions.” JB
