LOOK: Pokwang recalls hilarious Subic trip in birthday greeting for K Brosas

Comedienne Pokwang (real name: Marietta Subong) recalled one hilarious trip as she marks the 45th birthday of her best friend and fellow entertainer K Brosas (real name: Carmela Brosas) today, July 15.
Pokwang shared with fans her and Brosas’ antics when they were bored one time in Subic — pretending to give birth to a baby towel.
“Sorry bff @kbrosas ito parin ang pinaka paborito kong picture natin kahit saan makarating at kahit ano pa mangyare hahahahaa,” Pokwang said on Instagram earlier today as she posted a photo of the moment. (Sorry BFF K Brosas, this is still my favorite picture of ours no matter where we end up and what happens.)
“Yung nasa [Subic] tayo at nanganak ka ng towel sa sobrang buryong natin dahil umulan,” she added. (That time when we were in Subic and you gave birth to a towel out of our extreme boredom, because it was raining.)
A seemingly emotional Brosas can be seen lying down on a bed, while the proud friend Pokwang carries the latter’s newborn towel.

Pokwang further recalled another wacky story – about a fisherman and his speedo – that happened after the said photo was taken.
“[T]apos the next day nakita natin si manong fisherman na naka speedo at nasaksihan din natin kung pano hinahampas hampas ng alon at dumudungaw ang igey laloo ni manong at sumasabay sa alon dahil sa maluwag na speedo bwahahaaaa,” Pokwang narrated.
(Then the next day we saw brother fisherman wearing a speedo and we witnessed how the waves crashed against his “igey laloo,” which danced with the waves because of his loose speedo.)
The doting friend then shared her well-wishes for Brosas, telling her to stay happy and safe as they are still going to bond together with Pokwang’s daughter, Malia.
“[I]sang masaya at blessed na birthday [sa yo] mahal kong bff,” Pokwang stressed. “[S]tay happy and safe please at rarampa pa tayo nila [Malia] tisay ang inaanak mong kikay [kissing emoji] i love you.”
(A happy and blessed birthday to you, my dear BFF. Stay happy and safe please, we are still going to go out there with fair Malia, your stylish godchild.)
To mark her own birthday, meanwhile, K Brosas helped her daughter Crystal come out as a lesbian by expressing her support and sharing the video of the announcement on Instagram. JB
