Lea Salonga backs ABS-CBN president Carlo Katigbak: ‘I vouch for this man’s grace’
Acclaimed Broadway actress and singer Lea Salonga threw her support for ABS-CBN CEO and president Carlo Katigbak, who has been representing the media company in Congress as it seeks a franchise renewal.
She praised him for his leadership amid the struggles of ABS-CBN since it was shut down in May, following a cease-and-desist order from the National Telecommunications Commission (NTC).
“I can vouch for this man’s grace. In the few times that I’ve met him, he’s been nothing but filled with grace and calm, and always with a smile on his face,” Salonga said on Twitter yesterday, July 5.
