Actress KC Concepcion has once again extended her help to hospitals battling the COVID-19 pandemic by sending them sets of personal protective equipment (PPE).

The PPE was distributed to Perpetual Help Medical Center in Las Piñas and Veterans Memorial Medical Center in Quezon City. Each set in Concepcion’s donation contained latex gloves, goggles, masks, isolation suits, booties and head covers, as per her Instagram post yesterday, April 15.

“God bless our health care workers on the frontline,” Concepcion said. “They are fighting hard [and] need our support- they are human too.”

Earlier this month, the actress also sent 400 ready-to-eat chicken and pork adobo in jars to the hospital staff of her aforementioned beneficiaries, as seen on her Instagram post on April 1.

Concepcion also thanked The Pantry for the goods and Dr. Ruby Bermudez-Magpantay for personally receiving the delivery.

“Filipinos have been coming together to help those on the frontline as consistently as we could,” she said. “It’s so wonderful to see.”

Despite being isolated at home during the quarantine, Concepcion has been keeping herself busy by reaching out to her fellow Filipinos in need.

Concepcion, together with actress Ruffa Gutierrez and news anchor Karen Davila, also took part in a donation drive which distributed groceries, vegetables and fruits to 250 families from low-income communities in Parañaque City. JB
