KC Concepcion on what it’s like being on the beach: ‘Mapapaisip ka talaga ng mga nangyayari sa buhay mo’

While enjoying the white-sand beach and the golden sun on Boracay, actress KC Concepcion realized that she has a lot of things to be thankful for in her life.
Megastar Sharon Cuneta’s daughter got sentimental on her Instagram post yesterday, March 5. Concepcion relaxed on a blue towel, wearing a peach outfit paired with a messy bun hairstyle, with Boracay’s blue-green water within her view. As she voiced out her thoughts, the actress jokingly declared that her country is “the land of maraming hugot (many feelings): FEELippines!”
“Bakit ganun pag nasa beach mapapaisip ka talaga ng malalim,” Concepcion mused. “Ano ang mga nangyayari sa buhay mo, saan ka thankful, saan ka magpray ng mas matindi pa, ano [yung] mga naging good, naging bad, mga memories, lahat na.”
(Why is it that when you’re on the beach you tend to think deeply? What happened in you life, what you are thankful for, what you are going to pray harder for, the good things, the bad, all the memories, everything.)
Concepcion also narrated how the beach is beneficial to one’s well-being. “Kaya sabi nila maganda talaga ang mag spend ng time sa beach! Nakaka heal, nakaka ganda (That’s why they say it’s good to spend time on the beach—it helps you heal [and] it makes you [more] beautiful),” she said.

Aside from rediscovering herself through the trip, Concepcion also shared her journey toward a more body-positive way of living. The actress stated that she is trying to achieve her “body goals, one step at a time.”
“Our bodies change whether we like it or not, and it’s [up to] us to better ourselves,” Concepcion said.
Meanwhile, Sharon Cuneta expressed how she wished Concepcion would not keep her distance from her family. During the Megastar’s 54th birthday celebration last January, Concepcion apologized for being absent due to “personal reasons.” Cuneta disclosed that her eldest daughter had not been able to attend several holiday celebrations with the family such as during Christmas and New Year.
“I miss my baby. I miss you loving me with all your heart. I miss your presence in my life,” Cuneta said. “Come back to me, to us.” /ra
