Hayden Kho on Scarlet Snow’s 5th birthday: ‘Dad, mom will always be your kakampi’

Celebrity doctors Vicki Belo and Hayden Kho are nothing but grateful as their daughter Scarlet Snow turned 5 years old today, March 3. The young Belo celebrated her birthday with a Jollitown themed kids party at the local fastfood chain, Jollibee.
Kho waxed nostalgic, taking note of “how time flies” now that his baby daughter has grown “so tall and so strong,” as seen in a series of Scarlet Snow’s photos on Kho’s Instagram account today.
Kho also expressed his insecurities about becoming a father and how he overcame them because of his daughter.
“I have to admit I was worried when you were born because I didn’t know how to be a father, but I swore I’d be the best one for you,” he told Scarlet Snow. “Because of you, I shaped up. I became more circumspect about my words and actions, knowing that you’re always listening, always watching.”
He also narrated how God helped him to become a better father. “I became more faithful, more prayerful,” he added. “You’re an angel, my love.”
According to Kho, Scarlet Snow is their source of joy, and despite her young age, she taught them how to love more selflessly.
“Remember that Daddy and Mommy will always be your ‘kakampi’ (ally),” Khow said. “You can trust that we will be here for you to help you reach your dreams, and we will also be here during the many times that you might stumble.”

For Vicki Belo’s birthday greeting, she showed Scarlet Snow’s beaming smile and her blushing round cheeks while dressed in a white outfit, as seen on Belo’s Instagram account on the same day.
“God truly blessed us when He sent you to us from heaven,” Scarlet Snow’s mother said. “You have brought so much happiness and sunshine into our lives.”
The dermatologist ended her birthday wish with a prayer: “Dear God please continue to protect her always and keep her close to you her whole life.”

For her party, Scarlet Snow wore a queen of hearts dress while sporting a party hat. During the party, she met some of the fastfood chain’s mascots such as the iconic red and yellow bee himself and some of his friends such as Hetty, Twirlie, Yum and Popo.
Her parents were also present to give her a kiss on the cheek while she stood in front of her birthday cake.

For her birthday, Scarlet wished that every kid could experience a birthday party similar to hers, such as underprivileged children being helped by the non-profit organization Right Start Community Development, Inc. JB
