LOOK: Sharon and Kiko, Juday and Ryan bond while sons face off in football match
Judy Ann Santos and Sharon Cuneta remained very much friendly as their sons competed against one another in a football game yesterday, Feb. 16.
Cuneta and Santos cheered on the stands of the McKinley Hill Stadium in Taguig alongside their respective husbands, Sen. Francis “Kiko” Pangilinan and Ryan Agoncillo.
Pangilinan shared a selfie of the proud “soccer parents”, noting that his son Miguel and the Agoncillos’ son Lucho were both strikers and carried the same jersey number, 77.
He also mentioned in the comments section that it was Lucho’s team who won.
Agoncillo, who has been documenting his son’s passion for football on Instagram, showed video highlights of the match yesterday, including goals made by Lucho.
Despite being on opposing sides, there was only love between the families. Frankie, Cuneta’s second daughter, commented on Agoncillo’s video to say, “Thanks for taking this pops.”
Cuneta and Santos have shared a close relationship over the years, previously starring together in the 2002 movie “Magkapatid”. The Megastar referred to Santos “one of my best friends by chance, sister by choice” last December in a screening of Santos’ movie “Mindanao”. JB
