Liza Soberano finally came face to face with her K-pop doppelgänger: Nancy McDonie of girl group Momoland.
The two beauties met at the ABS-CBN Christmas Special in Araneta Coliseum last Tuesday, Dec. 10, which featured performances from the network’s stars.
In April 2018, McDonie acknowledged that she and Soberano bore a resemblance after Filipino fans pointed it out to her. Despite Momoland’s multiple visits to the Philippines, it was only this week that Soberano and the group crossed paths.
Both Soberano and McDonie posted a picture of them together after they met.
The “Alone/Together” star also posed with the girl group.

Soberano is herself a K-pop fan and previously danced to Momoland hit “Bboom Bboom” with actor Enrique Gil. This caught the attention of the group last June 2018 with McDonie saying, “She actually can dance. We’re so honored and thankful.”

With Momoland’s management company MLD Entertainment striking a partnership with ABS-CBN, a collaboration with Soberano may not be far-fetched. McDonie will soon star in TV series “The Soulmate Project” opposite James Reid. /ra
