James Reid to star in TV show with Momoland’s Nancy McDonie
James Reid and Nancy McDonie of Momoland are going to star in a new television series together.
Dreamscape Entertainment uploaded through their Facebook account on Oct. 4 that the two will star in the series titled, “Soulmate.” It will be directed by Antoinette Jadaone.
The photo shows James—wearing a coat over a black turtleneck shirt—sitting next to doll-like Nancy in a white dress. The said Instagram post, made by Deo Endrinal (@montie08), says that the two were together for a story conference.
The K-pop idol arrived in Manila on Friday morning for the “Good Friends in Manila” concert, organized by DNM Entertainment. Momoland performed with former Wanna One members Ha Sung-woon and Kim Jae-hwan at the Araneta Coliseum last Saturday.
This is going to be the first television series that Nancy will star in. The center and visual of Momoland previously starred in the web drama “Thumb Light” for Naver TV. She can speak fluent English.
James Reid previously starred in two Jadaone series with real-life girlfriend Nadine Lustre, namely: “Till I Met You” (2016) and “On The Wings of Love” (2015).
Momoland signed a contract with ABS-CBN last Friday to do several projects with the network, including a travel show.
