LOOK: Enchong Dee finishes marathon in Osaka, Japan

Enchong Dee can finally call himself a marathoner after he finished running the 42-kilometer distance in Osaka, Japan yesterday, Dec. 1.

The actor completed the Osaka Marathon 2019 in four hours, 23 minutes and 41 seconds, as stated in his Instagram post today, Dec. 2.

“I’m very happy with my time but currently relearning how to walk,” he said. “This experience taught me so much.”

He pointed out that upon registering for the marathon, one would be asked who they will dedicate their run for. As for Dee, he chose to dedicate his participation in the run for a sustainable environment, which was signified by an aqua blue bib he wore during the race.

Anne Curtis, who also participates in other international marathons, was quick to congratulate Dee for his latest feat. Maja Salvador and Coleen Garcia also expressed their admiration for Dee’s achievement.

Prior to pursuing his careers as an actor and entrepreneur, Dee was part of the Philippine national swimming team and has participated in the 2005 Southeast Asian Games and 2006 Asian Games. JB
