Enchong Dee marked his birthday by planting trees with Ria Atayde and some of his fans yesterday, Nov. 27, at Taal Maranan’s Farmville in Batangas. The actor turned 31 years old last Nov. 5.

“To celebrate his birthday, he wanted to do something different so he came over at 5AM and dragged me to help him plant trees with @enchongdeeworldcentral,” Atayde said in her Instagram post yesterday.

She also thanked the fan group, Enchong Dee World, for supporting their causes and for “being a part of the change we want to see.”

“[I] appreciate you and all your efforts to create the change we want see together, slowly but surely,” she added.

“Can’t wait to be back in a couple of years to see the little forest we built today,” Atayde expressed.

Dee also posted a short clip on his Instagram Stories that showed Atayde watering one of the newly planted trees.

The fan group also took to social media to share moments from the tree-planting activity. They posted photos of the two actors at the farm alongside two videos of them tending to the trees.

This is not the first time the two actors have teamed up for an environmental cause. The two, who are known to be good friends, previously joined a coastal cleanup activity along Manila Bay earlier last March. /ra
