Jackie Forster mourns grandfather’s death

Jackie Forster lamented the death of her grandfather, Alfredo De Leon, who passed away at the age of 87 last Monday, Nov. 4.

Forster announced his passing and paid tribute to him in an Instagram post yesterday, Nov. 6.

“For every memory I have of him I have that much more regret,” she said. “Regret of not being around him more, not talking to him more and not telling him how much he really meant to me, even if everyone tells me he knew.”

However, she mostly felt remorse for “not being able to take care of him as much and as well as others have.”

Forster described him as “a man who did so much for so many while having so little.” She also revealed that her grandfather played a big role in helping form who she is.

In light of his passing, Forster declared to honor her grandfather through her “actions and parenting.”

“Being kind to people from every walk of life and humility are the biggest characteristics he taught me,” she added.

Forster then reminded her fans and followers to “[love] and care for your elders while they can still hear you.”

“I’ll see you there again one day,” she addressed her grandfather. “My first true love, my protector, my everything. I will love you forever LOLO.”
