‘Crazy Rich Asians’ author Kevin Kwan writes foreword for Heart Evangelista’s new fashion book
Heart Evangelista has revealed that Kevin Kwan, author of “Crazy Rich Asians”, wrote the introduction of her new style book.
“Thank you so much to my dear friend @kevinkwanbooks for writing the foreword,” the actress said in her Instagram post yesterday, Sept. 2. “It truly is an honor.”

Her new book is entitled “Styled With Heart” and will center on Evangelista’s iconic sense of style and her favorite fashion items.
Evangelista first teased about the new project last July through a vlog post on her YouTube channel. She then previewed a sneak peek of the book last August, while also disclosing Kwan’s involvement in the project.

Evangelista and Kwan became good friends while working together on a “Crazy Rich Asians” feature for Harper’s Bazaar in August 2018. Kwan dubbed the actress as a real-life “Crazy Rich Asian” alongside three other Asian fashion icons in his feature piece for the fashion magazine.

The friendship between Evangelista and Kwan later spurred rumors that claimed the actress was set to star in the film adaptation of Kwan’s sequel to “Crazy Rich Asians”. Evangelista later admitted to feeling flattered to be seen as a fit for the movie, but clarified that she has no involvement in the production,
Prior to writing “Styled With Heart”, Evangelista released her first book entitled “This Is Me, Love Marie”, which featured her skincare and makeup tips, back in 2016. JB
