Kyle Echarri has expressed support for Julia Barretto who has been tangled as a rumored third party in Gerald Anderson and Bea Alonzo’s relationship.
The 16-year-old actor posted on Instagram a picture of him and Barretto at Lorin Gutierrez’s birthday bash over the weekend. He dedicated a message of support to her in which he gave her advice and called on others to show her respect.
“Glad to know you. You are one amazing [and] strong woman,” he praised the actress. “Never let the ‘talks’ bring you down. Not everyone will be willing to lend their ears but the truth will always be your greatest weapon. Never lose that beautiful smile. There are so many of us who want to see you happy. Thank you for everything.”
He said he did not mind being judged for being Barretto’s friend, but thumbed down judging others, especially women.
“But I despise people who judge women and disrespect them just because they feel they are entitled to say whatever they want not thinking of how it’ll affect others and worst, judging & making assumptions even when they don’t personally know them,” he wrote. “Learn to respect. It is not hard to do.”
The “Kadenang Ginto” star’s comments come after Alonzo liked Instagram posts of Anderson and Barretto seen at a party together. Speculations that Anderson had cheated with Barretto heightened when Alonzo made a cryptic post on Instagram last July about making mistakes and wrote “enough.”
Barretto has denied the cheating rumors and accused Alonzo last August of “bullying” her through “liking harmless photos,” which were supposedly those of her and Anderson. Alonzo has been mum about the issue and has not explicitly mentioned Barretto’s involvement in her relationship with the actor. /ra
