Shaina Magdayao dismisses rumors she’s transferring networks

Despite rumors she’s changing TV networks, Shaina Magdayao said it is not happening anytime soon.
In an interview with ABS-CBN on June 4, the actress denied the rumors she’d be transferring to rival networks GMA and TV5.
“I am a Kapamilya,” Magdayao confirmed. “Sa buong karera ko, sa buong pinagdaanan ko, hindi naman natin maaalis na nagpapasalamat ako sa [ABS-CBN] dahil dito na ako lumaki, also sa [GMA] dahil doon ako nagsimula.”
(In my career and everything I have experienced, we cannot deny that I am thankful to ABS-CBN since this is where I grew [as an actress], also to GMA because it is where I started.)
According to the actress, the renewal of her contract with her home network has not come to fruition since she has been very busy with work.
“Meron po [offer mag-renew] kaya lang alis po ako nang alis,” she said. “Ang daming nangyayari, hindi pa settled lahat pero nagpapasalamat na ako sa lahat ng magagandang nangyayari sa akin.”
(There is [an offer to renew my contract] but I keep on traveling [for work]. There are so many things that are happening [so] things are not settled yet, but I am thankful for the opportunities I am receiving.”
“Kung may offer man, malalaman niyo naman eh. But right now, I’m here in [ABS-CBN],” Magdayao added.
(If ever I receive offers, you will know eventually. But right now, I am here in [ABS-CBN].)
