Janine’s siblings not interested in show biz … for now
Actress Janine Gutierrez initially did not want to enter show biz when she was younger because, as she recently told us, the unexpected acting commitments of her parents—Lotlot de Leon and Ramon Christopher—would sometimes get in the way of planned family time when she was a kid.
But she eventually found herself interested in an acting career, as well, and learned to love the business.
The “Dragon Lady” actress, now 29, and with a number of high-profile film and TV credits under her belt, is busier than ever.
Janine, the eldest of four, has similarly good-looking siblings—two sisters and a brother.
But while some of them have had modeling gigs, do they wish to follow in her and their parents’ footsteps?
“Right now, they say no, pero ’yun din ang sinabi ko dati, so I’m not sure,” Janine tells the Inquirer of her siblings (Jessica, Diego and Maxine), with whom she is close.

Article continues after this advertisementAnd, speaking of family, Janine feels elated that her mom has found happiness and tied the knot with Fadi El Soury last December.
“I’m happy for her,” Janine declares. “I saw during the wedding how [the] family was so supportive.”
