LOOK: Gretchen, Claudine Barretto reunite over dinner
It looks like Gretchen and Claudine Barretto have finally set aside their differences.
The two sisters, who were known to have been in not-so-good terms for years, surprised many of their fans when they reunited for dinner last Saturday, Feb. 9 at the Solaire Resort and Casino in Parañaque City.
In a clip from Gretchen’s Instagram video, posted by the @claudinebarrettofandom account, Claudine appears momentarily. The camera then turns around to her adopted daughter, Quia, seen enjoying her ice cream and drinking.

Another clip showed Quia’s candid moment with Gretchen. At one point, the two of them make up funny faces.

Also present at the reunion was Claudine’s eldest daughter, Sabina, who wore a gray hoodie and waved to the camera. Meanwhile, Gretchen could be heard playfully scolding Quia, who she said was up way past her bedtime.

In a screengrab, both Gretchen and Claudine were seen having a laugh and looked comfortable with each other’s company.

As a way to seal their renewed bond, the sisters now follow each other’s Instagram accounts as of Feb. 2, Push reported.
Both sisters were known to have icy relations since 2013. During that time, Gretchen sided with Raymart Santiago, Claudine’s ex-husband, over Claudine’s alleged use of drugs.
Their other siblings, Mito, Joaquin, Michelle and Marjorie, also took Raymart’s side. Meanwhile, Claudine’s sister Gia, along with their parents Mike and Inday, backed up Claudine.
But Gretchen and Marjorie too had a falling out in 2014, following the actress-socialite’s alleged attacks against the latter’s daughter, Julia, the Philippine Entertainment Portal reported.
In 2017, Claudine reconciled with Michelle and Joaquin. Claudine then reunited with Gretchen’s daughter, Dominique Cojuangco, at the annual Mega Millennial Ball fashion gala in June 2018.
Weeks before their dinner happened, Gretchen accused Kris Aquino of teaming up with Claudine to “destroy” her. This was in relation to Gretchen’s claim that the Queen of All Media meddled in a tax case involving businesswoman Alice Eduardo.
