McCoy, Elisse say it was difficult working on new film, consider themselves ‘ex-lovers’
McCoy de Leon and Elisse Joson may look in love in their new movie, but off camera, they said it was difficult.
De Leon and Joson, more popularly known to fans by their love team name McLisse, admitted in a “Tonight with Boy Abunda” guesting on Monday, Jan. 14, that there was tension between them when they started filming their upcoming movie “Sakaling Maging Tayo.”
Joson explained that when they started shooting the film, they were already going through something, adding that their relationship was like a roller coaster.
When both were asked if it came to a point where they thought of backing out of the film, both said yes.
“No matter how hard it was during the film, pilit ko pong inintindi (I was trying to understand) to anyone around na I have to do this because it’s a blessing (the film),” Joson explained while fighting back tears.
