Kyle Echarri says Andrea Brillantes is a ‘very special friend’

Singer and actor Kyle Echarri quashed rumors surrounding his relationship with Andrea Brillantes when he said that his “Kadenang Ginto” co-star is his “very special friend.”
“’Pangako’ is about pangako kahit anong mangyari nandito ako para sa’yo (‘Pangako’ is about [my] promise that I will always be here for you no matter what happens),” explained Echarri when asked about his 2018 single “Pangako” during an interview on “Tonight with Boy Abunda” yesterday, Jan. 8.
After asking permission from the 15-year-old’s mother regarding a personal question, Abunda asked him if the song is for Brillantes. His safe reply was, “Sa lahat po ng mga kaibigan ko (For all of my friends).”
The talk show host then discussed the dating rumors the teen stars sparked after Echarri shared a photo of them at a beach in Cebu via Instagram on Dec. 30. Abunda also noted that Brillantes call Echarri “Jojo” while the actor calls her “Momo.”

Echarri said that the photo shows two friends who are together at a beach. He also asserted that the 15-year-old Brillantes is a “very special friend” to him.
“At 15 ba, sa mga panahong ito, you have to tell Tito Boy, at 15, pwede na ba kayong magligawan? (At 15 in this day and age, you have to tell Tito Boy, at 15, is courtship allowed?) ” asked Abunda.
“Alam naman po namin na 15 pa lang po kami,” answered Kyle Echarri. “Alam naman po namin yung mga priorities po namin. And nirerespeto ko naman po yung nanay n’ya, yung pamilya n’ya and my mom.”
