Heart wants to try shopping in Divisoria
Because she has been traveling a lot the past year, Heart Evangelista said she planned to just stay in the country and spend the holiday season at home.
She’s also looking forward to welcoming her new niece. One of her sisters, she said, is set to give birth next week, on the very same day she was supposed to give birth.
“It’s a moment for me,” Heart, who suffered a miscarriage earlier this year, told reporters. “I’m really excited. I can just imagine the feeling of holding her baby. I want to spend time with them. How wonderful!”
Heart said her family celebrated Christmas the traditional way. “Everyone just gets together and cooks twice-cooked lechon na binabad sa patis,” she related.”
The actress, who recently signed an exclusive contract with GMA Artist Center, loves giving gifts—an art that she feels she has already mastered.
“I got married to Chiz (Escudero, senator), and I suddenly have 600 more people to give gifts to. That’s why I prepare months before Christmas—of course, if you give something that’s not so nice, people will say something,” she related.
“And as time goes by, you realize that you have to give something more budget-friendly, because there are also more kids every year. Padami nang padami,” Heart added. “I actually want to try shopping in Divisoria!” —ALLAN POLICARPIO
