For the Queen of All Media Kris Aquino, basketball is one of the sports she wouldn’t want to see Bimby play.

Bimby, 11, is Aquino’s son with ex-husband basketball player James Yap.

Aquino has always been open about the happenings in her life. When she has the time, she answers questions her fans would throw every now and then.

One fan, @lymeni23, took to the comments section of one of Aquino’s Nov. 30 posts to inquire about the possibility of Bimby playing the same sport as his father.

“OMG, ang tangkad na ni Bimb,” the netizen wrote. “Biglang laki. Hindi pa yan I think growth spurt kasi ang bata pa nya. Would you let him do basketball Kris Aquino?”

(Oh my God, Bimb is so tall. He suddenly grew tall. I don’t think that’s a growth spurt because he’s still young. Would you let him do basketball?)

“I’ve said this — ayoko ng team sports because kung masiko or makipagsuntukan ang bunso ko, everyone close to me knows — susugurin ko yung mom nung nanakit and baka mawala lahat ng endorsements namin because for sure kung anong nagawa ko sa [bagua] sa ‘Feng Shui’, yun din magagawa ko if my baby gets hurt,” replied Aquino, citing her 2004 horror film “Feng Shui” which saw her destroying the cursed bagua mirror.

(I’ve said this — I don’t like team sports because if my youngest is elbowed or he ended up in a fistfight, everyone close me to knows I will go after the mother of the perpetrator and there’s a possibility all our endorsements will be gone because I am certain that I will do the same as what I did to the bagua in “Feng Shui” if my baby gets hurt.)

Aquino then stated that swimming is what she thinks is the safest sport for Bimby as swimming etiquette calls for swimmers to stay in their respective lanes.

“I thought of golf but Bimb has asthma and allergic rhinitis so that got crossed out,” she added. “I love tennis but Bimb’s not interested. Sila ni kuya (He and Josh) are natural water babies — effortless for them to swim. I can barely float.”

It looks like Aquino’s response to what sports Bimby can play has changed over the years. In an episode of “Kris TV” aired in April 2015, PBA coach Franz Pumaren and basketball players Jeric and Jeron Teng praised Bimby for having a high basketball IQ. Aquino can be heard telling her son, “Kung gusto mo okay sa akin, gusto mo ba?” (If you want [to play basketball], it’s okay with me. Do you want to?) NVG
