Marian Rivera named ‘Celebrity Breastfeeding Influencer’

Kapuso Primetime Queen Marian Rivera has been named as “Celebrity Breastfeeding Influencer” by the Mother and Child Nurses Association of the Philippines (MCNAP).

Rivera thanked the organization for the recognition in an Instagram post on Friday and said:  “Masaya akong na-share ko ang experience ko bilang breastfeeding mom noon kay Zia.”

She even expressed excitement for the arrival of her second child, saying “Ready na din ako (at asawa ko) next year para sa aking ikalawang anak.”

“Kaisa niyo ako sa layuning ito at hindi ako magsasawang suportahan at ipalaganap ang importansya ng breastfeeding,” Rivera added.

The actress has been a staunch advocate of breastfeeding ever since she became a mother and gave birth to her and Dingdong Dantes’ first born Zia in 2015.

The couple is expecting a baby boy after announcing Rivera’s pregnancy in September and revealing the gender in November. /cbb
